Beautiful

I can tell that this is something that NEEDS to be 12 minutes long. I know for some people that its hard to sit for that long and just listen but you must do it. Totally worth it. The atmosphere that this song creates is not one that I experience often and I applaud your ability to create it \m/ \m/.

Kor-Rune responds:

Yeah, for long periods of time, really focusing on a song adds a new flavor to it, I believe. But for a casual listener, I recommend doing an activity with the song on an iPod or something. haha.

Thanks for the review man, I appreciate it a lot!

Its very technically proficient...

This is really really good bro. A mix of Veil of Maya, Born of Osiris and maybe a like After the Burial. The only thing I have to say negative is that the kick drum is too loud. The punchyness fits well with breakdowns but it totally overpowers the technical parts. But seriously dude, this is really good.

Deathcalypse responds:

Thanks for the input man! Glad you like it!

Epic

Very ominous feeling! Sounds like some faster paced funeral doom. And kinda Septic Fleshy. I would have liked to hear some technicality in the guitar but thats just a style preferance I guess. I hope your next submission is a bit longer.

sorohanro responds:

Well, this was just a test of my guitar sample pack which I made for free.
It's just power chords, so that's why you don't hear any "shredding" but later I might make something with real guitar.

Thanx for review.

Great stuff dude

Really good progressions. I get a very Opeth like feeling when I listen to this. Eerie in a very peaceful way. I gotta get a bass guitar. This song makes me think thats what my mixes are missing.

ZombieZappa responds:

Ha, thanks. Opeth is in my top 3 favorite bands along with Porcupine Tree and Dream Theater! Some of the influences from this song came from mastodon; well at least the initial build of it was.

Yeah the bass made a world of difference, I dont know how I ever did it without it.

The is just...

Excellent. Although most post rock bores me, Explosions in the sky and God is an astronaut have drawn me quite deep into their music. The emotions in this piece are fantastic and I really get the feeling that terrible has just happened but its okay because we can just start over.

Not only is the music itself very good but the recording quality is good too. There is too much stuff here that gets high ratings even if the audio quality is extremely poor. Im excited to hear more from you dude.

Robot-Lock responds:

Thanks a bunch, mate. Be on the lookout for Megative.

I like it.

Excellent harmonies and some really great progressions. Great stuff bro. Hope I get to hear more from you soon.

BERSERKYD responds:

I always got something soon ! :)

Crazy stuff

There is quite a diversity of vocals in here. If nothing else impressed me (which isnt the case), the vocal ranges did. I really like your guitar tone as well.

Bad-Man-Incorporated responds:

Thanks very much, dude!

Great stuff

This is amazing. Not really in the technical sense but the vocalist is brutal and I love the reverb on his screams every once and a while. Great mixing and mastering too. Sounds very full. Why the hell did this get rated so low?

10/10
5/5

Dimoria responds:

Zerobombers man :)

Holy crap!

Is this just solo work or what? I'm thoroughly impressed to find something of this quality in the AP. I'm not a huge fan of pop clean vocals in metal like this to be honest but I wont let personal taste get involved in the review. 5/5 bro.

XTerrorXproductionsX responds:

thanks. review greatly appreciated

Hmmmm,

I dont know if im just dumb or not but it seems somewhat off-tune at some parts.

SystemOfaDan responds:

Hmm.. I thought I had it pretty much correct. Tuned right beforehand and all. But I will look into it. Could just be an effect I used. Any specific part you noticed it alot in ? It could also be that in certain parts, I recorded a track in a lowered pitch and one in a higher one and played them at the same time. This was supposed to give a cool stereo effect. I think it may be what makes it sound a bit off.
